.:Sonadow:. Roommates Ch2

Minutes later, the two hedgehogs walked through campus together, telling each other what their lives is about and things that mostly go on in general. Sonic was pretty amazed with Silver's life. It was mostly filled with guy drama, which was a little uncomfortable for him. As for Sonic's life, it was pretty formal. He had a few problems here and there, but it was all resolved. Finally, they arrived to their destination.
"Well, Silver it was nice meeting you! It's time for me to hit the sack." Sonic said.
"Are you sure, Sonic? You don't want to at least walk around a little more?" Silver asked
Sonic sighed. "Well....I guess I can walk for a little longer....after all, classes start tomorrow, no?"
Silver smiled. "That's the spirit! Now come on, let me show you something!" Silver grabbed Sonic's free wrist and took off with him.
A few doors over, they arrived to another same looking door that belongs to a different pair of students.
"What's this?" Sonic asked.
"I wanted to show you my room, of course." Silver said.
Sonic blushed a little bit. "D-don't you think it's a little to early for-"
Silver gasped. "How dare you! I already said you weren't my type!"
"S-sorry! I just got a little carried away!" <Sweat drop>
Silver shook his head in disappointment. "Boys these days."
He then open the door which revealed a clean, yet colorful room. The walls were painted into a green and yellow color which stands for Silver's eyes and his roommates fur.
"Pretty neat. I didn't even know you can paint your own room!" Sonic said.
"Haha, thanks! Me and my roommate agreed with the colors. Uh yeah! It says in the handbook that you can paint your room as long as you paint it back to the original color you found it in when you leave this campus. Didn't you read your handbook?"
Sonic then thought back in time of when he first got that handout.

----FLASHBACK----

"Well here you go, Mr. Sonic. Hope you read it so you wont have any trouble!" Said a lady, handing out a heavy book to Sonic.
Sonic took the book and said "Thank you very much!"
"No problem, sport! Can't wait to see you next year at Mobius University!" The lady said with a huge grin on her face.
Sonic saluted her and walked off with the book. He gave it one quick look and threw it in the nearest plant he saw.
"Psshht, rules shmules. I go by MY own rules." Sonic said confidently.

----END OF FLASHBACK----

Sonic chuckled nervously. "About that....."
"No need to waste your breath Sonic. I have a pretty good idea on what you did with your book anyway." Silver said.
"......is that bad?"
"No, you probably did the same my partner did. You received the book and threw it away in the nearest tree/ plant."
Sonic's eyes widened a little. "That's actually what did..."
Silver rolled his eyes. "It's cool. You could of at least read it once, just to be safe. Well whatever. Wanna hang here for a while?"
"Nah, I'm ok, really. I seriously need to get back though. I want to finish my book." Sonic said.
"Well ok, Sonic. See ya pal!"
"See ya, Silver!" Sonic said
Silver shut the door infront of him and Sonic started heading back to his own room. He opened the door, no one was there. Sonic let out a sigh of relief, knowing that Shadow wasn't there. He went over to his bed and sat on it, took off his shoes and opened his book once more. He looked back at the tape and his ears folded down.
'Why did I have to have such a mean roommate?' Sonic thought to himself.
His ears perked as he heard the door open, and he quickly looked back at the book. He heard the voices of two people coming in the room, laughing at their unknown conversation. One of those voices was his roommate, Shadow and his other one was one of his friend, which has green colored fur, and blue clear eyes. He wore a black, leathery jacket just like Shadow did, and some red glasses on his head.
"Ah Scourge, you never ceased to impress me." Shadow said.
"Well what can I say Shadow? It was pretty funny." Scourge laughed.
Scourge looked at the tape that separates the room.
"Shadow, you do this to every person, man. Even your own brother."
"What can I say? I like my privacy."
They both stopped talking as they noticed Sonic at the corner of his bed who is pretending to read.
Scourge and Shadow sat on Shadow's bed.
Scourge whispered "Is that your new roommate?"
"Yeah, lame isn't he?" Shadow whispered back.
"He might be lame, but he is kinda cute." Scourge replied.
Shadow slapped the back of his head.
"Oww! What the hell was that for!?" He yelled at his ebony friend.
"For being an idiot. He isn't cute. He isn't even my type." Shadow said quietly.
Sonic could only hear a few words of what they're saying. He was pretty sure they were talking about him though. He listened a little closer.
"Aww come on Shadzy! It'd be nice to date someone that's not your type anyway!" said Scourge.
Shadow took one good look at Sonic. Sonic noticed from the corner of his eyes and blushed a little, but it wasn't noticeable.
"Actually, he isn't pretty bad if you look at him closely." Shadow said.
Scourge smirked. "Exactly, stripes. I mean, he looks like the type of guy who would love to go on a romantic date and all that shit."
"Not the kind of shit I dig, Scourge." Shadow said.
Sonic heard what Scourge just said. His eyes widen as he found out what they were exactly talking about. 'Does.....Shadow like me!? That's disgusting! Ah jeez, I'm learning a lot about my new roommate already....and I'm not liking it....' Sonic thought.
"He might not even turn out like that! Remember Silver?" Scourge asked.
Shadow's head went down a little. "Yeah.....I remember him completely."
Scourge noticed Shadow looking down all of the sudden. "You still miss that 'White ball of sunshine'?" Scourge asked.
'White ball of sunshine' was Scourge's nickname for Silver whenever him and Shadow were still together. White ball because whenever he felt bad, he'd curl up into a ball, and because of his white fur. Sunshine because Silver is a happy, energetic person who's really friendly to others and loves to make new friends.
Shadow chuckled a bit. "Nah, not much anyway. He was a great boyfriend, until I found out he was cheating on me with another."
Sonic's eyes widen even more. 'So...Silver was right about losing interest.... but he never told me he was cheating....'  Sonic thought.
"Dude, that was seriously not cool! You deserve better than that skank anyway." Scourge said
"Whatever, I can careless about him anyway. He was a waste of my time." Shadow said coldly.
Scourge smirked. "Well stripes, I guess I gotta head to my room then. Can't keep my roommate waiting."
"I thought your roommate hated you." Shadow said.
"Oh he does, but I got him covered." Scourge said.
Shadow smiled. "You stupid idiot."
"Not as much as you, Shadzy buddy." Scourge winked.
"Get the fuck outta here, man. I'll see you tomorrow." Shadow chuckled.
"Alright, See ya." Scourge said. He then opened the door, headed out and slammed it as hard as he could.
"That stupid shit." Shadow said to himself.
He then looked over to Sonic once more.
'You know Scourge might not be wrong about him.' Shadow thought.
Shadow then laid back on his bed and closed his eyes shut.
Sonic looked at Shadow, watching him fall asleep.
'Hmmm....something might be up with that Scourge guy.....' Sonic thought.
